With no discussion and only a few dissents, the community of Leverett, MA, home of the New England Peace Pagoda, passed a resolution to impeach Bush and Cheney at the annual town meeting on April 28, 2007.

The bill is Hawaii SCR 83. That makes Hawaii, Wisconsin, Texas, Missouri, Vermont, New Mexico, and Washington. Last year there was also a resolution in Illinois, California, and Minnesotta. Does anybody else think it’s time to impeach yet?

That will make the 2007 list of states that are considering impeachment:
Texans
Missouri
New Mexico (resolution is dead)
Vermont
Washington
Wisconsin
If any of these states passes its resolution then the House of Representatives must consider their articles of impeachment, as per sec. 603 of the Jefferson’s Manual, which lays out procedure for the House.
